Christmas is a magical time to be in London and there is a wide variety of things on offer to see and do.
New for this year Leicester Square is all aglow until the 8th January 2017. The capital’s famous square has been transformed into a grotto, with a variety of traditional stalls and a vintage Spiegeltent – a velvety, wooden venue home to a programme of exciting Christmas shows.
There are endless beautiful Christmas lights and shop window displays to marvel at. Walk along Regents Street and look up at the lovely angels floating above the street, make your way down to John Lewis and the famous Selfridges to take a peek at the glorious festive scenes set up in their windows.
Ice skating is always fun, whether you’re a whizz on the ice or spend your time clutching to the side, and there are many locations to choose from in London. Book tickets in advance for Winter Wonderland or check out the rink at the Natural History Museum.
After you have sufficiently explored all the London Christmas festivities, enjoy a relaxing night at the charming City Continental Kensington London
